The Ginetta Junior Championship is a one-make racing series based in the United Kingdom. From the 2010 season teams will use the Ginetta G40, having previously used the Ginetta G20.
The cars use sealed Ford Zetec 1.8-litre engines, and feature tubular steel chassis, fully integral FIA approved roll cages and fibre-glass shells which ensure safe, controlled racing. ... Read more on wikipedia

The second round of the 2019 Ginetta Junior Championship took place at Donington Park, one of the most Internationally renowned and historical circuits in the world. The weekend (Apr 26/27) was a triple header, with three race events on the 1.9miles National circuit configuration. Practice on Thursday saw drivers swamped in water as storm Hannah blew across the UK. Several red flag stoppages meant that only a few laps were possible due to all the standing water, with drivers and teams understandably cautious about the worsening conditions. Douglas Motorsport driver Kiern Jewiss -KTJ Racing delivered another series of brilliant performances over the weekend. He completed a hat-trick of second places (3 rookie wins) in the overall race which has put him in 3rd place overall in the Ginetta Cars Ginetta Junior Championship – 2 points off second place, and extends his lead in the Rookie class to 88 points. Daniel Harper had to battle hard over the weekend but managed to pick up valuable points by finishing in P7, P6, P8 in the three races over the weekend, leaving him 4th on the overall standings.
